Where the fuck is My “Sean Avery” Jersey?

"Axl knows Fashion, and so does Avery"

I’ve been struggling for days on how to write this blog.  Dangeroushockey (yes me) landed at LGA early Sunday morning.  After nearly being killed by truck on way to airport, I suspected things could only get better.  But how much “Better,” only time would tell.  I’d like to say the highlight of my day was the Rangers/Caps game at world-class MSG, but it wasn’t.  While it was great, my day was only just beginning.

Ironically, after chasing GnR all over the USA the past 11 years or so, they decided to make it easy on me by scheduling a show at Terminal 5 the night I happened to be in town for business meeting.  Quick cut: jump to the show.  Clad in my game worn “Sean Avery” jersey, I managed to plant my fat ass right in the front row.  Safe from the crowd, I quickly made friends with several people surrounding me, including a dude in a wheel chair (forgive me as I forgot your name) , who actually got in a shoving match with another guy but ended fortunately without incident.

Do yourself a favor, listen to his original music.

OK, so here I am, right in front of Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, who I consider a friend, even though we’ve never actually met.  Ron tries several times to kindly toss me some black guitar picks.  Talk about a bitch of a thing to catch.  Now I have good hands, actually great hand, but these little fucking things flutter, are black in a dark show and there’s big lights beaming in my eyes.  However, I did manage to catch 3.  How I don’t know?? I think one landed in my pocket?

This is for those of you who dismiss the band surrounding Axl Rose, you’re just ignorant.  Foolish.  I mean, why all the hate? This new band is better than great.  There is really nothing bad to say about them that makes any literal sense.  “Well it’s not Slash” doesn’t make literal sense as to the depth of talent, heart and soul that this new and frankly improved band brings for 3 amazing hours.

But I suppose it’s like arguing if Jesus was God’s son, a waste of time and energy.  So onward I go.  Bumble, thank you for all you’ve done for me and our little film (See trailer)  I hope it gets to see the light of day.

THE AXL ROSE MOMENT:  The band begins playing “Nighttrain” one of their all time greats.  So I decide to video with my iPhone (see Steve Jobs) the song.  Low and behold, something magical happens.  Yes, I’ll admit I acted for a second, like a 15-year-old school girl at Justin Bieber concert, but for some odd, yet to be determined reason, Axl Rose pointed directly into MY CAMERA and smiled at me!!!  Why, I wondered instantly?  Immediately I assumed it was because of my Rangers jersey.  Although thoughts I considered were (maybe he saw my movie trailer? A Dangeroushockey.com fan?,or recognized me from other shows, or maybe there was some HOT Blonde, behind me (i checked, there wasn’t)

Why was this moment so awesome.  Because it emphasized what I, along with many, have been saying for a long, long time.  Axl Rose is a great dude.  He’s obviously, finally, happy with where Guns n Roses is as a band and it shows by the guys he’s surrounded by and how much fun they have while performing.  Not to mention the great show.

THE AVERY JERSEY:  Figuring it was the jersey he liked and not my new hairdo, I

"Now Axl's Sean Avery Jersey, sitting by drums and strange stuffed alien dude."

took it off and as he came by during “Patience” I tossed it to him.  He smiled, nodded a sort of thank you and then he threw it up by the drums.  Where it remained until after the concert.  The million $$ question is, where is it now?  Rumors are that the band may be signing the jersey and auctioning it off for charity.  Other theories are that Axl sent it off to be de contaminated and plans to wear in for the Rock Hall Induction?  Regardless of where the classic jersey ends up, it was a classic night for Dangeroushockey and for everyone else in the crowd who got to see Guns N Roses “up close and personal.”

The Beginning, I hope:

"Thank you and Good Night, really morning (3am)"

WIN WIN WIN: See Rangers-Caps with Dangeroushockey (1 TICKET) ENTER, see below.

"Who will be the Unlucky Winner?"

Why on earth anyone would want to do anything with me, is beyond me?  But when it comes to sitting in MSG, watching the Rangers who the New York Media already awarded the cup, people may do just about anything.  So that’s it.  Do anything to convince me why you want ONE, yes ONE ticket to this Sunday’s game vs. The Washington Capitals.  R rated is fine.  X is NOT.  Get Creative, who wants it? Email to MRAXLROSE@Yahoo.com, tweet @dangeroushockey or post comment here.  I’ll pick winner by Saturday.  I’ll hand deliver ticket or leave at will call.

RULES:  you get 1 ticket.  NOTHING ELSE.  No parking, food, NO transportation, I may not even talk to you. Good luck.  NO MURDERERS OR RAPISTS.  Wanna know about me, read my blog LOL.

Punches to AHL Player’s Head to Benefit Toronto Children’s Hospital.

"that'l be $10 bucks, for the kids"

Kyle Nueber, the kid’s got panache (see dictionary.com for definition), and now he’s got Toronto’s Sick Kids’ hospital on his mind (literally).  He’s agreed, well I’ve agreed, to donate $10 for every “Punch to the Face” he receives during the remainder of the AHL season.  Looks like he’s game ON (see tweet exchange below.)  Dangeroushockey has also contacted the Sick Kids hospital directly to inform them of this likely windfall of cash since the kid leads the league in fighting majors.  They have yet to comment. I will use Hockeyfights.com to count the punches and donate at end of season.  Way to use your head for the kids Kneubs.  Don’t get hurt (too badly)

Kyle Neuber @kneubs24 retweeted to 634 followers:

Since @kneubs24 is being mean to DH I’ll donate $10 for every punch He takes to face rest of season to sickkidsfoundationnc.com/page.redir?tar… #sick kids

Marlie’s Neuber Snubs Dangeroushockey, Helmets Monster

"Dunno who Neuber thinks he is, I've taken shits at Brooks Laich's house."

It’s one thing to beat the living crap out of your opponent with his own helmet.  While it may be illegal, I do think it’s funny.  But there’s never an excuse for young Kyle Neuber as he snubs Dangeroushockey during his recent stint in Cleveland.  “I dunno.” said a dejected DH, these young kids.  “He seemed like a good kid on Twitter.”

Neuber got in a fight where he was wrongly accused by many in the Cleveland organization of attacking Monster’s forward Scott Langdon with his own helmet.  “I thought it was a good scrap (thanks hockeyfights.com click to see helmet beating), right in front of my seats.” said Dangerous although he was unable to attend due to a busy work schedule.

He added, “I was sitting right on the glass, of focus groups. Hell I’ve been waiting for this game forever.  Was hoping Bordy and Neubs rematch.  Regarding the alleged snub?  This kid knows who I am.  He knows what happened to that punk Barnaby after he snubbed me.  His only way to the NHL is with my help. He’s young.  He will learn.”  In meantime, Dangeroushockey responded with the snub by donating $10,000 to the Sick Kids hospital in Toronto “IF AND ONLY IF, Neuber can score 10 goals the rest of this season!”

Dangeroushockey “Stomachs” a Football Game with Son

Faced with the harsh realization he may never play hockey, I spend some “precious time” watching the NCAA Championship Turd of a game.  Video has son come up with genius idea, while watching game.  The worst hockey game was better than this game by the way. Little multi tasker SOB.

Super Mario hosts Ben “Rapist-Berger” in Owners Box

Seriously, you had your cock out in the bar?

I’m a Pens fan (among other teams).  Not die-hard but because of their proximity (closest NHL team to me) and  their exciting team, I do follow them and enjoy watching their game.  Mainly for the players.  The best and some of the best in world, all play for Penguins.  And I don’t mean just Malkin and Crosby.  Also love the Dan Bylsma story.

I always liked “Super Mario” growing up, but kinda lost track of him as he suffered injuries and I was off to college and hockey disappeared from my world at least.  The Athens Post didn’t cover the NHL.  We had no NHL.com, or internet for that matter.  And truth be told, I was either fucking, fighting, drinking, working, drugging or sleeping.  In between I went to a few classes.

I have stuck up relentlessly for hockey as a whole and how they are a different breed than other sports in general.  Players give a shit, for most part.  Lots of class and genuine care and sportsmanship for each other, the league, the fans, the community that got them there.  But to see Ben Rothlisberger in Mario’s loge last night, churned my stomach.

Of course, everyone can hide behind the innocent until proven guilty.  I’m going with the rich, powerful, NFL-superbowl winning quarterback, got away with it.  Being the victim of an unsolved vicious crime myself (although not rape) I was nearly murdered.  When the law can’t, won’t, or doesn’t help you, it’s even more traumatic.  In my case, someone gave me the wise advice to “let it go” the guy’s a  piece of shit and he’ll have to keep living his miserable life as one.  Enjoy mine and move on.

It was and is great advice.  Because it’s true.  And society will never accept this guy as some sort of super hero etc.  But Big Ben’s story is different.  Although the NFL slapped his hands with a 4 game suspension, he’s right back where he always was.  Mario having him in his loge, is simply saying, “I don’t give a shit what this kid did, as long as he didn’t hurt me.”

Well imagine being the family, the girl/girls, that have been a victim of his alleged crimes (see Smoking Gun report).  Just because he didn’t get found guilty in a court of law doesn’t mean he’s not guilty.  Even he admitted he needed to “change.”  If I’m innocent, I’m telling everyone and their brother to piss off.  Now Ben knows he’s a piece of shit.  But them more society, and especially the “elite, upper crust” accepts him back in their circles, he’s going to believe his own insanity.  Fuck you Super Mario.  Shame on you.

Concussions: If you haven’t read about them, read. If you have, read again.

"There's no respect in risking your life." Or something was said

Since many end up on my blog by searching “Is hockey dangerous?” We thought appropriate to share.  Unfortunately, they aren’t going away anytime soon.  Parents, players, coaches, bloggers, traditional media, my gift to you, is a quick, yet vital refresher course on “concussions”  Link to Web MD’s official Concussion page.

Thanks to Some “General” dude I follow on twitter for this quote that is the new mantra of hockey:  “When in doubt, sit it out!”  Be careful out there.  Stick to bleeding, it’s much safer!

"Not sure if he had a brain to concuss?"

DH captured “sans jersey” in this undated recent photo

Rare photo of Dangeroushockey.com surfaces wearing a shirt, not a jersey!  Below are various photos of the mysterious blogger, who appears a bit “hefty” in this photo.  DH prides himself on promoting the furthering of hockey education throughout the world and is rarely, if ever seen without a jersey of some sort.  As the investigation into the leak continues, enjoy a trip down memory lane below.
